ARCHIVE WORK
A much larger collection of my archive work, primarily created during my London years.
ANIMUS COMPILATION SHOWREEL
Animus Productions was the studio I established in London over a 20 year period. We specialized in a whole range of styles and techniques, with budgets large and small. This compilation reel offers a hint of some of the work produced prior to the studio closing in 1998, when I relocated to the USA. Music: The Muckers.

The first US commercial I ever directed/animated!
ARISTON
One of several commercials I directed & animated - stop frame animation by Aardman!
SWAN LAKE
I loved directing/animating this one - backgrounds by Neil Ross.
SCRABBLE
It was fun animating morphing and overactive typography!
LAMOT LAGER
A campaign created because the client just liked science-fantasy art!
MODA DE SPANIA
I love the abstractness of this animation. (Sorry about the whistling audio track!)
TELEPHONE LINES
Well they do say the Irish have the gift of the gab!
PURINA
I am primarily proud of this one as I conceived it so the hand artist's hand never leaves the screen or cuts from sequence to sequence.
FILMS
PINK PANTHER STRIKES AGAIN TITLES
Conceived, designed, directed and animated this entire title sequence while I was at the Richard Williams Studio in London.
CATHEDRAL - TV SPECIAL
A short musical compilation of animation that featured in a 1-hour, PBS TV Special, entitled "Cathedral" and based on the book of the same name by David MacCaulay.
UNCLE LUBIN
Short trailer for a proposed live action/animated movie, "William Heath Robinson & his Amazing Uncle Lubin". Actor: David Thewlis. Live action producer: Simon Channing-Williams.
DREAMSINGER
A short (mute) test I did with Bibo TV (Germany) in 1992 for a beautiful movie project, "Dreamsinger", involving 2D and 3D animation. (Everything above the water would be created in hand-drawn 2D animation and everything under the water would be created in a ground-breaking illustrative 3D format.) This was an initial exploration of using 2D animation techniques to obtain a 3D look above the surface. Digital technician: Effie Wizen.
